Great Horned Owl - Forest Tiger

I knew this piece of wood had an Owl in it, waiting to come out and I was right - Great Horned Owl is in high relief! While painting him, I became aware of the similarity to strokes I'd used when painting my Tiger and then, when I went in search of Owl tail details, I came across an observation - "Tiger of the Forest" & POW piece named! 23" SOLD
