I believe that Artists are storytellers.  My paintings tell stories about people, animals & nature, but also about me & how I view the world.  Wisdom, dignity, life, love & family values are important themes for me.  While I am "well known for my sensitive animal portraits"(Kamloops Art Gallery"Sept/06).
 I am also attracted to 1st Nations & other portraits.  The evidence of a life well lived, to be found in a mature face, is very compelling subject matter for me.
